The butterfly inside the throttle body? Yea.

Just pull it compltely off and scrub it down with a toothbrush and gasoline.

could that be the cause of the problems that I stated before I.e when I cold start my car I have Low idle and its not raising the rpm so my voltae drops but when I give the car a little gas it raises the voltage and I also heard to be very carefull. Dont use a something that will scrape and brake cleaner why should I use gasoline?

If you're going to pull it apart might as well reseal it.

Your problem sound more like the Throttle position switch or idle stabilizer valve.

Never use gasoline a cleaning agent. Use carb cleaner or brake cleaner.

+1 on resealing. It's cheap, easy, and changed my idle drasticly.

I'm not saying that your butterfly is the problem, but even after never being cleaned (most likely), it's worth it anyways. Plus this is what you asked about.

I use gasoline as a cleaning agent on the intake and such things as gas is mixed there anyways. I didn't leave any left overs. Everything was thouroghly wiped down and cleaned with a rag. Gas is nice though because it's stronger then any of these other cleaning products, and cheaper.

Gas prices may be expensive for your car, but for cleaning ****...where can you buy carb cleaner for 3 bucks a gallon? Exactly.
