Default WTB: automatic transmission for late-model 944

I've got an '87 NA automatic that needs a new tranny. PM please if you've got one you're looking to get rid of.

I'll pay for shipping to Canada, of course.

Umm... I kind of have one... I'm doing a manual conversion in a few months... (I have all the parts lined up)
My tranny shifts perfectly fine only thing is... it'll probably be out of my car much later than you'll need it.

Sorry to tease you, but if you don't really need it until the weather warms up again, I've got one.

Yes it is. Well, my second replacement. I screwed up the first replacement when I replaced the insulating foam under the shifter (bent a cable mounting so the gear select was wrong -- the tranny made a horrible noise).

It's totally my own stupid damn fault.

And Calmchaos, I appreciate that, but I'm hoping to have this wrapped up sooner rather than later. But if I can't score a tranny then obviously I'll have to wait. I'll keep you in mind!

Hopefully the Rennlist will come through for me once again!

Dang ... only found one so far (this one), and it doesn't look so hot.

Just keep looking, I guess!
