Default Looking for a good trans.

I'm looking for a good transmission for my 1986 N/a.
I am going to convert my auto to a manual this summer, and I'm trying to get a good transaxle lined up.
I would like it if it were close enough to be picked up but I'm not picky at all. If you have a good one that shifts well and is tight, I'm interested.

I'll be getting all(or most) of the other parts needed from another lister, but the car this stuff is coming from is an 84 so my speedometer won't work with it.

So if you have a good transmission that will play nicely with my 86 let me know please!
Thank you!

I have an 85.5, BUT is has many miles on it. I'll sell it cheaply, but keep in mind it may need to be replaced within the next couple years. I think if you use good lubrication and aren't dropping the clutch to drag race, it may last longer- but no guarantees. If you aren't able to find one closely, let me know if you are interested.

Not trying to kill anyone's sale, but you won't be happy with a 951 trans in your N/A.

i have a complete rear end (torque tube, trans, and axles etc) i have on ebay for 350 that you can have for 300, i will guarantee that the transmission is usable, but i'd check out out before throwing it in (by guarantee i mean if it's blown up i'll give you the cash back and take the stuff back). I don't have the ability to take it apart and just sell the tranny at the moment because i'm away at school, but I'm in Maryland so it's not too far of a drive if you want it. let me know!
