I was coming home from a trip today on I-85 in Georgia and spotted a Sapphire Metallic 944 (a rennlister?) going the other way and it reminded me of what a great color that is, but I rarely see it and I don't see it mentioned too often either. Does anyone here have a clean one they would like to share pictures of? I have an original 944 brochure that has some great shots of one, I might be able to scan it later on.

The color is hard to photograph, the blue never shows up quite right but it's a great color.

Not mine, but looks good.

crazy color, looks gray in some photos but when you see one it is sure a light blue. Great color and I don't think I have seen it done again as well as on these cars.

It's a beautiful color, and it works best on the 944, and the 944 looks fantastic in it! Definitely one of my favorite colors for this car!

Great pics guys! The one I saw in Georgia yesterday was an early car with cookie cutters on it. It looked pretty clean, but I did just catch a glance of it going the other way on the highway.
