Default 85.5 944 alarm key switch

I am tryng to remove the factory alarm key switch. I cannot figure it out. I cannot see a clip or nut or anything else holding it in place. (backside) I have searched but cannot find anything on this. Can someone here please help me out?

Take off the outside trim ring (it will likely break as you do it though) and there is a nut on the outside. Unscrew it, take out the vent in the door sill and reach up to pull the lock inside. Plug your ears, disconnect the wires on the switch, and short them back together to shut off the alarm.
Now you just need to deal with the hole in the side of your car...
