Mobil 1 is not the best gear oil, but it's pretty good. People have varying reviews - some like it, some hate it... I like it. They now carry it at Kragen.

That's the thing about Redline and Mobil, you can find it easily. Swepco and Amsoil are basically mail order unless you happen to have a supplier close by you.

I found the cause of a bad noise one one of my cars when we moved - the only time I've been in a car driving behind and able to observe my 944. The dang right side hub was bent. Obvious as hell when the car is moving but I missed it even when I chnged a rear axle bearing. Just a thought...Bruce
