Default Changing Valve Cover

When changing the valve cover on a 1986 944 na, does it just unbolt off or is there more involved? Thanks.

Timing belt comes off the gear on the end, unscrew the bolts inside the housing through the little ports. Those are the challenging bits. The rest is self explanatory.

DarkGrey: Speaking of cam towers, do you have any shots of your engine bay?

Not really, just put a blob of grease on the end of your allen key and with a steady hand they come out without a hitch.
The grease will hold a vacuum between the key and the bolt head, effectively sticking it to the key, as long as you push it in all the way.
