I know of a few guys making the trip to the 24 on Saturday morning (Jan. 26), and I wanted to remind some of y'all to skip fishing that day and come to the race instead. I heard that the Porsche DP has moved up to 3.8L and they kicked up the rev limiter to either 8400 or 9000, can't remember which.
For my money, though, the Grand-Am races on Friday CANNOT be beaten. They're so cheap to get into, and all the garages are open that afternoon as the Rolex cars get ready for the big show. Plus it doesn't hurt that there are 90 (last year 92) cars on the track that afternoon, all of which are entirely production based.

I worked the 24 last year for Finlay Motorsports and thier DP team, was a blast!! And yes, the GT races are fun!! I still hold a Grand Am hard Card and could get in for free, but not sure I'm gonna make it this year. For those of you that go, please post pics!!!

Although the only problem is.... car is getting a new custom paint job before the rolex, and hopefully it will be done in time. If not, I'll have to settle with bringing the bimmer [yawn]
