All it takes is patience and planning. If in doubt, use some fabric with a slight elasticity as a 'test-run' before you risk ruining good leather.

Steering wheel that I stitched last week:

Mark the hole locations before you start. Make them even. That is a BIG help.


look at 928 leather shop, or Paul Champagne... I got my steering wheel leather from Alan Gun (www.aglausa.com) and the quality is superb. I have no doubt that all three companies are absolutely excellent.

I have a CS wheel and Recaro hardback sportline seats...not custom but not stock...
