yeah ive seen the jet hot coating before- on a bike- had polished heads and coated steel cylinders- almost couldnt tell the difference.

I would powdercoat them to match the intake pipe and manifold. Not a fan of polishing, too much upkeep to stay clean.

I don't think he will be happy with the jethot. It doesn't come back with the same luster as polished and it wouldn't match the pipes. I think it had something to do with coating the aluminum versus ss. I wasn't too happy with mine, it showed a lot of the imperfections that I didn't see before it was done.

Yea I told Sam that I didnt think the jethot would match 100% I will just have to "polish one out"

I agree 100% with what you are saying about the upkeep. However I drive my car about 2000 miles a year max. If it were a DD I would not polish at all.

Also beware, that over-polishing may lead to low flow in the pipes.
