Default Custom 944 Gagues

Who makes gauges for 85 1/2 and up? Or, is there anyone who can take your old gauge cluster and create something new?

Thanks Jbrill. Here is an old picture (have since changed warning lights, steering wheel and changed to red lighting <<<<<<<<<< avatar). However, I think you are looking to do new style dash conversion. I think they sell FG and CF pods at GT racing for that. The pod was made with sheet metal and bondo. The gauges are autometer sport comp. The block was tapped (late block won't need tapping) for the water temp sender and the oil pressure sender has a SAE converted fitting. The indicator lights are fed off of the multi gauge leads. I used a Ford fuel level sender because the ohm range is similar. I have gotten used to the gauge but it is not perfect. Autometer sells a programmable one, but I have been too cheap to buy it. Michael

For the later type dash some people on this forum have used a German company called www.white-face-gauges.com. They don't do the cheap style plastic overlays, they use stainless and aluminum laser cut pieces that replace your instrument faces. They will also do custom lettering and cut-outs.

I ordered some of their stainless bezel rings (see below) some time ago, they were the best fit & finish that I have seen.
