My Rear Seat Delete With Pic UDPATED PIC
I know there is a lot of rear seat deletes around but I did mine this weekend and I like the way it came out. I took the rear seat out in about a half hour and then I got to work. I took a piece of cardboard and began to slowly trace and trim it to cover the rear seats. I then took the cardboard and transfered it to 1/2 in plywood which I cut with a jig saw. I then put in some crappy speakers which I will upgrade eventually and mounted those in. After that was all done i mounted my fire extinguisher in the middle and now all I have to do is carpet it black!
And I apologize to DanAllen944 again for not getting back to him on those manuals. Sorry Dan!
1/2 in Plywood - 14.99$
ABC Fire Extinguisher - 12.49$
Crappy Speakers - Free
Total Build Time - about 4 hours or so..

This is how I was hoping to do my RS delete, keeping the functionality of the seatbacks to hold stuff in the 'hatch' yet provide shelter for an estinguisher, carputer, and amp...
Haven't tried it yet but I've been thinking about it and hoping that I can make those stock hinges and latches work on the ½" ply.

In the beginnig i was planning on making two compartments like on the older RX 7's but i decided against it, i am however, goona put the whole thing on a hinge so i could put some stuff underneath it.
