^ not sure if my fiance' would like that idea...

ok well got the motor in last night and almost done, tonite we buttoned everything up and its up and running. The boy drove it home just a few minutes ago and it runs pretty good. Everything went pretty smoothly, clutch works, heat works, oil pressure is good, temp is perfect, alt charges, no visible leaks anywhere. Doesnt look too bad either- just needs to get all the grease prints off the fenders!

wow you work pretty damn fast.

how did you get the motor back in? I assume you raised it up from underneath?

how did you get the car up high enough without a litt to fit the motor / crossmember assembly under and raise it up?

i put the floor jack w/ a large wood block under that metal support at the front of the torque tube- raise the front of the car up as high as possible w/ the rear end up on large jack stands. I bought an atv lift and put the motor on that- raise motor up- lower car down, etc..

i have a large wood burning stove in the garage so its about 60 degrees in there.

Looks great guys!! I still think that a 2.7 would have been a better option, though!
