Default Dash recover options.

Hello.
1986 951 Brown/burgundy interior.

I am looking to recover my dash on the 951 which is brown. and i know of 928 leather and jager. but has anyone had any experience with either when ordering the kit?
is the leather really that much more of a pain to maintain?
Also how hard is it to install "right" do i really need to drop it all of somewhere for someone that knows what they are doing to install?
Thanks to all.

There was a guy on the board recovering them with a nice stitched leather... I'm not sure if he's doing that any more.
