Default Clutch/Transmission noises

This is a noise that I have never encountered before, and search brought up no results. I have a sqeaking noise coming from either the clutch/transmission ( i have not been able to pinpoint because even though they are at opposite ends of the car the noise seems to echo through the torque tube) BUT i am 95% positive its from the transmission. When the car is not in gear the rapid sqeaking can be heard, it resembles that of a loose belt. When the clutch is depressed the noise goes away HOWEVER there is a delay between this....When i depress the clutch, the noise gets quieter for a half second, then after the clutch has been engaged for a second or 2 goes away.
...help...

sounds like the throwout bearing on the clutch- usually they squeek for awhile, then they lock up, sheering the clip that holds them on- your pedal drops to the floor and then you have no clutch.
