Default door lock

After removing the old grease, dirt and oil from the door lock cylinders. I'm at a loss for what I should use to keep them lubricated. I have checked around on the web and found that some sites suggest using graphite other sites say not to, others have suggested using spray silicon. Any suggestions?

ive used graphite in the actual cylinder (put the key in halfway and squeeze it in) without issue and ive owned the car for over 2 years.

i use the silicone spray on the actual lock mechanicals and it works great
