I have always been able to get the intermediate shafts through porsche without any problems for the manual racks. They do have to ship from Germany, but that only takes a week.

The one thing I ran into is the steering shaft ends were 90 degrees off from the power steering shaft. For this I had to pull my steering wheel and re-orient it. My turn signals no longer self-cancel.

Have I just got a bad local OPC, they told me that these are NLA worldwide. Which OPC did you use PorscheDoc?

Didn't have this problem, though you are correct in that the shaft phase is 90 deg out. How does the steering shaft affect the turn signals? The cancelling mechanism is on the steering wheel, are you sure you didn't just break something when you reinstalled the steering wheel?

I'm prety sure, but my brother did the work on the lift at work. I'll have to pull the wheel again anyway since he didn't connect the horn when he put it back on... you just can't get good help these days!

I used the steering wheel holding tool from the alignment rack to make sure nothing moved during install so i would have not steering wheel issues, also used the centering hole on the rack to make sure everything would line up with no issues. No issues as of yet with the blinkers but am also curious as to how they got messed up. Do you have an airbag car? If so there could be a clock spring in there I guess that when the shaft got put in wrong coulda missaligned the clock spring, but I've never had an airbag P-car to know if that's even how they work.
