Default FS: ANDIAL 951

Well I have had my baby for 3 years now and it is time to part ways. I have worked hard on this car and have made some really nice upgrades. Its kind of a sleeper (if a 951 can be considered that) because it is completely stock on the outside. All the mods are in the engine where it counts. I have a stack of receipts for all kinds of parts and work. It was recently tuned up and a new Widefire headgasket and a LR Super 61 turbo were just put in. I haven't dynoed the car yet with the new set up but my conservative guess would put it at 325 to 350RWHP at about 15~16PSI. The only blemish is on the front bumper where I had an encounter with a hubcap on the freeway. I was going to add an AIR splitter and have the bumper and splitter painted at the same time but I never got around to it.

Car has 73,XXX miles

Asking $10,000 and I feel this is a very fair price so I wont negotiate on it. I will list it locally for more so this is my special price to my fellow Listers.

THE GOOD
2.8L Stroker Motor “ANDIAL” Built Engine including the following:
- Andial Cam (extensively dyno tested by Andial, it improves midrange and top-end)
- 88mm Stroke crankshaft
- Special Mahle 8.0:1 comp pistons
- Special Carillo rods
- 951 Cup oil pan
- replaced 8 valve guides, cut seats, surface head and balanced engine
Engine was built and installed 9/91 (receipt for $7100.00)

Andial Manifold (magnesium for lighter weight)
Clutch Master and Slave Cylinder replaced at 57K miles
Right tie rod assembly replaced at 57K miles
Left control arm replaced at 57K miles
Power steering pump replaced at 57K miles
Hatch Struts replaced at 57K miles
Head light motor relay replaced
Lindsey racing Super 61 Turbo installed at approx. 72K miles
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator installed at 57K miles
Motor Mounts replaced at 59K miles
4 New Koni yellow sport struts installed 7/05
Stoneguards placed on fog lights
Pioneer CD player
K&N Air Filter
New glove box hinges (Steel)
New odometer gear
New plugs
Venturi delete completed recently
4 new 55# injectors
3” LR Exhaust
3” SFR Downpipe
Magnaflow muffler
MBC
LR Fuel pressure gauge
38mm Tial wastegate
New 951 Cup Clutch installed 11/05
Including new clutch fork and fork shaft
New bell housing
LR gauge panel with digital boost gauge
Scivision Stealth MAF installed 4/06
LR J-Pipe adaptor used for secure connection between J-pipe and turbo inlet
New 02 sensor recently installed
4 wheel Alignment performed by “Custom Alignment” on 6/30/06
New front rotors and pads (@ 63,018 miles)
New drilled rear rotors and pads
951 MAX custom performance chip
All coolant hoses replaced with LR kit
Porsche bra
Porsche fuchs (8&9s)
KLA strut bar
Seats are in good shape with just a hint of wear on the driver’s side left bolster
Electric sunroof is working
New windshield installed 8-21-06
New rear wheel bearings (@71,562 miles)
New fan belt (@ 71,562)
Tune up (@ 71,562)
Compression checked at 63,018 miles……140 – 140 – 140 – 140 (perfect)
Head gasket recently replaced with Widefire gasket
Head machined and cleaned up

Dyno tested at 295 RWHP and 331 TQ at 13.5psi ( No recent dyno with new turbo) This was with the K27/6 and stock downpipe I had on before.
Car weighs 2880 lbs (confirmed by CAT scale)
With 9.7lbs per HP the car pulls hard and is very fast (HP per pound ratio is better now with new turbo and DP)

THE BAD
The usual dash cracks
Clock doesn’t work
Paint chipped on left front bumper (hit a hub cap on the freeway and it chipped a large section of paint off the fiberglass front bumper). Other than that the paint is in very good condition.
The car was in an accident prior to my purchase. Right front fender was replaced. All broken parts were replaced and there are no after affects from the accident.
The driver side seat controls don’t work (I have the new controls but have not installed them)
Drivers side view mirror glass fell out on a hot day. Currently using “fake glass” until I get a replacement
AC needs a recharge or fix I dont know cause I never had it checked (blows air but not cold)

A pic of the chipped paint on the front bumper

Dyno sheet when I had the K27/6 and stock down pipe on. This was at 13.5PSI, pump gas...............so not even pushing hard

It's a shame to let it go after all that work and money you put in....

sorry you are having to let it go. Its a sleeper for sure. 2.8 with a 61 will put up some good numbers with a decent amount of pressure.
