My 84 starts fine when cold. After a few minutes the idle dips to about 400 rpm, the car sputters for a while then shuts off. If I give it a little gas to keep the revs up it is fine. Speed sensors? Fuel pressure regulator? Any ideas?

Could be the Auxiliary Air Valve.
