Default 944online.com

I just placed an order for a new rear hatch seal for my 86 951 and had it shipped 2nd day air because whenever I drive with the windows down the cockpit stinks of exhaust fumes. Since 944online is in Florida and I'm in Atlanta, Ian called me to tell me that regular UPS ground should get it there the same time as 2nd day and it would save me $8. It just goes to show that there are honest people out there and that the 924/44/68 community has a great deal of honest vendors and we should feel lucky.

Yeah Ian is a pretty cool dude.
I've dealt with him a couple times. I just wish their prices weren't as high as they are.

Some things are cheaper at 944online and some things are cheaper at Paragon. For instance the rear hatch seal I ordered at 944online is $99 and at Paragon it's $114

944online is a great place, they are always very helpful and knowledgable. When I bought my 951 a couple of years ago after being out of the 944 game a while and a placed an order they had remembered that my dad had a 951 also. Also when my dad placed an order a couple of weeks ago for his new 944(sold his 951 and bought a 944) he got a call first thing in the morning from 944online to double check his order because they had in their system that he had a 951 and the order was for a 944 so they wanted to double check that it was correct. Great place!

OK just a thought here, why not be willing to pay a little extra to the guy with great customer service? Sure maybe his part is a couple of bucks more expensive and you can easily get it cheaper elsewhere with decent service. But isn't that great customer service worth the slight uptick in price?

I would rather support a mom & pop operation and pay little more, rather than support a bigger company.

It is which is why I do a majority of my shopping there.
But it would be nice if the prices were lower.

when i needed the rad temp switch, shipping was more than the switch, ian said to get it from volkswagen.

fla to atl certainly didn't need 2nd day air.

I might be inclined to say that Ian is a "Class Act"... But...

Ian is GENUINE Class!!!

No "act" about it!!!

You could always call Ian and ask him if he will match or beat someone else's price. I've had great experiences every time I've dealt with Ian.

I do the majority of my ordering thru 944online.com and Paragon. Both Ian and Jason are great to deal with and go that extra length on their customer service. Either one is a top notch choice IMO.

I used to live 5 minutes from 944online's shop in Florida. I'd stop by every once in a while to peck through their halfway disassembled cars like a vulture looking for deals on used stuff. They were always cool about it.
