Like Travis said, the brass bushings work-hardened and failed. They cracked into little tiny bits. They didn't deform or get out of round.

I meant the "metal" bushings, or whatever the SSI version were made of. Sorry Travis, I thought the Rennbay metal bushings were the same.

I bought mine from Rennbay and got em pretty damn quick too. Only I'm not as quick to install them their still sitting on my table. As soon as I finish up some wrap vehicles I have on my plate I'll attempt the rebuild.
