Its about how to turn a 944 na or turbo into an electric car. Not a turbocharged electric car.

I bought it.

They guy sends out a 3 to 5 page pamphlet every few months.

Its been an interesting read. Includes a lot of links to further educate yourself.

& if you like this, seach about the kid who holds the "worlds quickest electic car"

which happens to be an electric 944.

: )

We converted an old 2.0l 924 to an electric car back in highschool for an electric car competition. It was definitely a lot of fun. Especially since everyone else was afraid of the plasma cutter so I got to do all of that.

Personally I think its funny when people justify electric cars by saying that they dont contribute to pollution. I guess they must forget about all the coal we must burn or the nuclear waste we have to dispose of to get that electricity.

I was just commenting that I thought it was odd that he picked a turbo car as the poster child for the conversion. All that good boosting gear going to waste.

I think its a good canidate because once the motor goes (which it often does due to scoring, seized bearings, bent rods, timing belt failure) the value of the car drops very low. This is an often occurance, so finding one is easy enough.

I mean it does look better than an NA. I thought for sure that this was just some scam. That's cool that the publication is legit.

Hmmmm... I wonder if it's his car pictured?

Alpine white? -Polished '89 wheels with painted center caps... -Are those Euro fogs?

-Darned if it doesn't look just like mine....
