I was listening to Moving Pictures on the way home from work. My '83 brings it out in me :-)

Nothing like a spirited drive to Rush, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd or some old Stones...

I unfortunately only remember the intro and main verse part...I've been too busy with the band making new music and have forgotten how to play a bunch of my favorite songs in the process

It wouldn't take me long to get them back though.

What he said Today it was "Dire Straits". Nothing like winding out with the guitar in "Sultans of Swing"

I am like Highlander: there can be only one.

The driving song, for my youth, getting my license in 1984, is "Red Barchetta."

Honorable mention: Deep Purple, "Highway Star."

I wish we had twisties here in Florida. It's kinda hard to find "driving" music going to the local supermarket.

My first Porsche was a 1984 944 sunroof delete with sport package. Still had the original tape player. I did not listen to the radio most of the way home on my first drive, but I did turn on the radio and the song playing was " I can't drive 55" by Sammy Hagar. I thought oh boy is this a foreshadowing of things to come. Not a super fast car but handled well and was good momentum car. Great first memory!
