FS: Saratoga Top Glass Sunroof 924 944 951 968
This is the smoked, metal frame type for a power sunroof car. The top is in like new condition. The seal is like new, and the felt is still soft & clean. The hardware is intact and shows no wear. This top engages fine and does not leak.
I do not have the storage bag. It only has a couple of cosmetic issues:
1) There is a small spot of what looks like white paint on the felt part of the seal, which is clearly visible in the picture.
2) There is a crack in the plastic strip that is bonded to the front underside of the panel. It is not structural and therefore does not weaken the top in any way.
I'm offering this to Rennlisters for $850 plus shipping. It would sell for well over $1,000 on Ebay, but I'd rather sell it here. If you're interested, PM me your zip code so I can get a shipping quote.
Thanks for looking,

More pics below.
The plastic strip serves as a kind of spacer so the top clamps down securely to the wind deflector. It gets sandwiched between the glass and the wind deflector. It does not provide any structural integrity to the top, so the crack is purely a cosmetic issue. I saw another one for sale some time ago that had the identical crack, so I think it's fairly common as these tops go.
