968 intake on an S2?

Am I missing something? I still don't get how the S2 intake is better then the 968. Why would Porsche go backward?

Why did BMW go backwards with the 3.2L from the 3.0L its simple they want more TQ.

That doesn't make sense. If going from a 3.0 to a 3.2L is getting more torque then that's not going backwards. That's progress forward. From the original post you said that the "The S2 intake is better then the 968 intake." And my question remains, WHY? and HOW?

If this is indeed true, should I put an S2 intake on my 968 engine?

Porsche going "backwards" with the 968 intake on a 968 engine, producing more HP and TQ in the process, works for me.
