Yeah, and you'd think the driver's floor would be wet too...

the fan has a drain? I did not see one.

anyways in the summer I had the whole interior out and after replacing both quarter window seals the only leak I found with a garden hose was from the dash. It leaks from under the dash and runs down to the back footwell area and collects there.

the sunroof and hatch did not leak with a garden hose. Also I know this water is from the dash because the carpet or rear seat is not wet.

there is water under the carpet and the carpet does not get wet. the water leaks from under the dash and travels under the carpet.

took me a while to figure this out.

For what its worth, I made the mistake of using that sort of stuff as well in the battery tray. I left mine sitting for probably 2 months before getting the car running again and it still hadn't dried completely. Luckily I didn't have any leak problems, I was just assuming it would work in place of the paint on stuff the factory uses. I have a feeling that next time I pull the battery out it will have been rubbed off of the areas beneath the battery.

Anybody have recomendations for cleaning this **** out without clogging the battery tray drain tube?
