I carried an entire 928 hatch in the back of my 944 once with the seats scooted up and the rears folded down.

The most uncomfortable 10 miles of my life.

My son's girlfriend rode about a 100 miles in mine and tried to smile. She sat sideways and is only about 5'-1". The back seats are pretty useless to me so I put in a rear seat delete with storage and a fold down piece for amps.

With the tiny backseats you don't have friends bumming rides as much though..

When we brought my 924s home for fun me, two friends and by brother all got in. My brother (5-8, 130lbs) and I (5-7, 150 lbs) were in the back, and my two friends (6-2, 130 lbs, and 5-9, 150 lbs) were up front. I couldn't take more than a minute in the back.

Seriously considering taking the back seats out.

The back seats are useless. A tall friend of mine was able to sit back there with the sunroof removed and his head sticking out of the car...

They're really only suitable for little kids. I'm thinking of taking mine out.

I can fit in the back fine, at 5' 10" and 150lbs. It's like you're in your own little world back there.

I had 2 girls (both ~5' 6" & ~5' 8", neither much over 110lbs) ride in the back of mine with one guy over 6' 8" & 400+lbs in the passenger seat.... for over two hours.... with the top off... to go see a movie.

that was a fun night...

seriously though, they were either REALLY into us, or reasonably comfortable (I'm going with the latter) as neither made any fuss, and both said they were comfortable. I think it's much more roomy in the back with the top off however.

I put a 300 pound lineman in the back of my 944. needless to say the car was leaning to the right as we cruised down the road.

Just last week I fit a 37 inch flat screen tv in the back of my 944 in the box no less.

Next week Im picking up some gravel to lay in front of my driveway Ill let you know how that goes.
