What kind of bolt holds down the seat rails?
stupid question, what kind of bolts hold the seat rails down? i know i dont have anything in the garage that can turn them, so i can only assume they've got a weird name.
i dont wanna go into autozone and ask them to come out to the car to have them see what kinda bolts they are.
i'm trying to reverse the seat switch so that i can lower the back part of the seat(it's all the way up in the air and the only way i can really sit comfortably is with the sunroof open and that's not gonna do me any good in the rainy season.)
is there a way to reverse the switch without removing the seat? i took the whole little assembly out of the side while the seats were still in the car, but i couldnt find anything where i could reverse the wires.
up works, down doesnt.

Juan,
The bolts that hold the seat rail to the floor are allen heads (and are harder than you average Home Depot/Autozone bolt).
It's pretty easy to get the seats out, so it would probably make it easier to work on your switch.
Just go to autozone and ask them to borrow a metric allen wrench set for a few minutes.......go out to the car, slide a seat all the way back and size it up to the bolt in the front part of the seat rails......then go back in and get an allen bit of that size in a 3/8" drive.
If you have a long 3/8" extension at home, that will help a lot when coupled with your newly purchased 3'8" metric allen bit.
I just had to take mine out but can't recall exactly what size it is....6mm, something like that......
