How much oil does a turbo burn?

If I held it there long enough, I am sure it would. The car still only burns about 1/4 (max) quart every 3000 miles.

My 944S2 with 150K miles uses practically zero oil between changes, whereas the 951 with 67K uses a bit more but nothing major.

Oil consumption varies with the type of driving you do and the oil viscosity. Consumption is greater with lighter weight oils. For example, with Mobil 1 5W30 (winter weight oil), I go through about 1 quart per 1000 mi. With 15W50 (summer weight) it's 1 quart per 2000 to 3000 miles.
