Default Need layout of fuse/relay box - 86 951

I have had sporadic hot start issues for years. It's not the DME relay. Yesterday I popped the hood after just driving 2 miles. One of the relays was incredibly hot while none of the others were even warm. At this point I'm not sure what it operates. My cover doesn't have the layout and the dog ruined my owners manual. Is there any other relay that can effect starting or is tied into the ignition switch circuit? When I have the problem the fuel pump runs with the key to 'start', all the guages/lights are active, but no crank or clicking. I'm replacing the ignition/switch lock cylinder Friday but that relay has me concerned.

Does anyone have the layout of the fuse/relay box or a link to where I can see one?

Thanks

Thanks Darwin. Any idea what that position 15 relay cady corner to the DME relay is for? That's the one that got hot but it's not listed on the layout? I'm wondering if I have a Central Locking issue as I have an aftermarket alarm/keyless entry and nevr se the CL.

Looks like #15 is for the headlight washers.

Steve,

When you say caddy corner to the DME relay, do you mean the third relay in the second row [first row being nearest the fender]? If so, that position should be blank, as I understand that slot is not used for US spec cars.

As far as headlight washers go, I understand that relay is in the fifth position, third row [from fender]. Good luck.

Thanks, I had a chance to check it out closer tonight and I was off by one slot on my description. It was the G7 relay (window motors) that was hot. That might explain why the passenger side switch doesn't work from the drivers side but is OK from the passenger side. I must have an intermittent short at the drivers door cable bundle heating up the relay. Sometimes the window up delay, door closed, doesn't work after shutting off the key either. I guess I have two things to resolve because that relay can't possible relate to the hot start issue. I'll try the ignition switch/lock cylinder first and then tackle the door problem.

Not to ask the obvious here, but why didn't you just grab the owners manual/fuse box lid from the other 951?

Electrical gremlins suck...

I was at work and the owners manual doesn't show the fuse layout anyway.

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting you've got this issue. This is why you keep having to get people to push start your car on the runs.

We really should get someone with an n/a to come so you can just use the rubber bumpers on the front/rear to push your car.

Why would we need an NA when I have friends to push? Hopefully the new ignition switch will take care of it.
