It's considered bad form -- though I don't mind us occasionally discussing how the market looks.

I sold an 175k miles S2 for $4k last year -- now that was cheap!

The car was probably originally sold in Canada. The ROW models in 1991 came equiped exactly as this car...sans rear wing, air bags, or 3-point rear belts.

I don't see how its bad form, or poor sportsmanship to post these listings, While this forum has "Technical Discussion" in the title, 90% of the stuff in here is not technical. Perhaps one of the other tripple redundant 944 / varient technical forums would be a better place to post non technical stuff pertaining to interest in these cars. Since this is the one most people read, I think its fair to post stuff like this. The mods don't seem to mind that the vast majority of postings are non technical.

Although Craigslist, Evilbay for sale postings tend to turn technical anyways..

"the clutch on that car has XXXXXXXX miles on it, what parts do you think will need replacing?"

"the engine is missing XXXX part"

Joe, where was I when you sold that car? I would have taken it off your hands in a heartbeat.

I agree and hopefully won't see any more lectures about it.

Keep it coming. I don't think it's bad form at all.

You just weren't around Rennlist then -- but deals like that come and go. This was last summer. I picked it up for $4k the previous summer. With the funds, I found a $3.5k 951, which I passed over to a yet another Rennlister. Just have to keep your eye peeled and have a parking space
