I just finished replacing the flex disk in my new (to me) 86 944. This was a major operation involving a lot of banging things around in the engine bay. It now starts OK and revs well out of gear but stumbles on accel under load in gear.

Is there some obvious thing I could have damaged during the fix that would cause that? Is there some sensor that specifically will produce problems only under load if it's bad?

Any help appreciated.

Hit the AFM really hard LOL.
Maybe you didn't put a plug wire back in all the way?

Did you check all the silly things like that?
