Default AHH!

Ok well i fixed my electrical problems, (wire kept shorting and blowing fuse). but now, after i disconnected my battery and reconnected it, the headlights wont go up all the way. i tried messing with the manual ****, but it just cycles the headlights up and down. if i had a manual it would probably tell me how to adjust it but since i dont i need you guys to help!

where did you fix the wiring issues? your headlight **** has to be turned when you manually turn the motor or else it will do a complete cycle

my wiring issue was due to some aftermarket switch for a light that the joe-dope i bought it from put in. with no key in the car at all, i pop the hood and go to the manual ****. i then can either spin it clockwise or counter. when i spin it counter it will slightly raise, then it will go by itself and raise the lights all the way up and then close them. if i spin it clockwise it will no go past a certain point because the electrical mechanism dosnt allow it. now when i go to put them up with key in either position 2 or car on, they only go halfway up. when i turn the headlights off it then raises to full height then closes.

So the wiring is correct? Try turning them on and then wiggling the relay on the headlight motor. Its covered by a small boot on the left of the unit.
