Default Brake Line Question

I have been having a problem with my brakes. What happens is when I step on the brake after turning the wheel the pedal sinks lower than normal. The next press is fine and stays fine as long as I don't turn the wheel. It also happens when I am standing still and I turn the wheel. I swapped out the front right calper (with one I borrowed) and the problem went away. When I put my calliper back on the problem resurfaced. The only thing that was changed besides the calliper was the line the comes off the calliper and attaches to the line that runs up into the engine compartment. (the way the lines were attached to the callipers were different so I had to leave it attached ) The question is: What are the chances it is that small piece of brake likne and not the calliper itself?

On a side note I have done the wheel bearing and replaced the rotors.

Could be that the line is pinching when you turn the wheel and causing a problem. It's a good excuse to upgrade to stainless steel lines.

I already have steel lines except for this one which looks like a braided hose. I assume this can't be solid as it has to move with the wheel.

As for the problem it happens when the wheel is straight. I should have mentioned that I turn the wheel and straighten it out and the pedal is lower for the next press. Stays fine until I turn the wheel again. It happens in either direction.
