Default Quick question about vacuum lines

So I have the vacuum line kit from Lindsey Racing, but when I popped the hood to start the operation, I noticed that the old lines use these fatter, bent dealies at the corner, obviously to prevent kinks. Do I need to replace those too, or can I just stick the Lindsey hose in there and forget those corner things?

I've noticed, by the way, how loose all the existing lines are (and there are plenty missing). I'm very curious to know what difference the new lines will make.

I'm in this same process, only I have my intake off as well. I am replacing all the rubber vacuum lines and keeping the plastic hard lines. I haven't run into any problems with the silicone hose kinking so I am replacing everything and using zip ties where needed.

Since the new lines are silicone, you can remove the factory rubber bends (used to join the harder plastic vacuum lines). The kit should come with metal "T's" that you use to create the junctions when two or more lines meet though.

Yep, use those metal T's.... and for things like the FPR, just stick the silicone ones right on there, they will stay on fine. If you're paranoid, use small zip ties. But you'll be fine.

This is the blue silicone stuff? If so it's very flexible - I wouldn't worry too much.
