they haven't undergone any sort of crash testing, and as such, have none of the approval ratings, etc

my corbeaus said Made in China on the bottom. I just bought a set of used OMP seats- now im not sure where these are made but the construction is MUCH better than the corbeaus i had- just much heavier frame and mounts etc.

I have those. $179. Dual color. Fit perfect. Comes with a lot of straps to hold them tight. Real nice quality and they don't "feel" like covers. They also don't stick to you like covers.

As for the cheap seats, they have the same ones at Pep Boys and they're $99. I looked at them before buying my covers. They are CHEAP. and feel like it. yuk.

I bought some Corbeaus and am not too thrilled with them. The driver's side bottom bolster cracks the foam if you sit directly on it. I've replaced it 3 times and despite being very careful, it's cracked again. I'm also not too impressed with the stiffness of the seat backs. I have a old Recaro (20+ years) in my Subaru and the back seems much more solid... I wish I spent the extra bucks (like 2X) on the Recaros...
