Default 944 turbo (951) throttle switch testing

Hi there,

In my neverending quest to get to the bottom of my 944 turbo ('86) high CO emmissions, I am told that the throttle switch may be faulty...

Testing it seems pretty simple (make sure resistance changes between the ground and one of the switch pins).

However, all instructions I've found (clarks-garage, haynes manual etc) refer to a 3 pin switch connector. Mine has 6 pins, of which 5 are used. Does anyone happen to know how to test this type of throttle switch?

Many thanks!
Alex
