What is the offset for 1983 944 wheels?

Default What is the offset for 1983 944 wheels?

I know that there are two offsets for the 944. what is the offset for the 83?
my wheels are 215/60/15.

Early through 86 was ET 23.3mm
Late was 87-91 with ET 52mm I believe.

But what is it in relation to 130mm in late model porsches?

huh? Offset is how far from the centerline the wheel mounts. Early cars are ~23.3mm, later Porsches including the late 944 use anything from around 50-70mm from what I've seen. Where are you getting 130mm? Only thing I've seen that involves the wheels and 130mm is the bolt pattern which is 5x130mm.

yes, that for the late wheels. how can i use newer wheels with the earlier pattern (1983 944)?

To use a late wheel on an early car you'll need spacers. Depending on the offset they'll probably need to be in the neighborhood of 1-1.5" thick.

Most, if not all, Porsche wheels will fit any Porsche (excepting 4-bolt 914/924s and possibly Cayeene?). They use the 5x130 pattern. The offset difference will make the wheels stick out from the fenders.
