A/C Drain not work Raining Inside my car
Apparently the drain plug for the A/C is plugged up because its not draining outside but inside my car. Its so bad now after using the AC this week when I turn on the AC its literally raining inside my car. Water is gushing out of the defrost vents and the front vents. How do I get to the plug from inside the car. n. I tried from the bottom but that hasnt worked. Can someone send me a how to on how to remove the dash to get to the drain tube. Thanks in advance.

It's been a few years since I had to do this. The drain tube comes out above the torque tube and I tried pushing a coat hanger up through it. It worked for a while, but clogged again. I'm not sure, but I think I took all of the screws out of the center console and slid it straight back to access the drain. The tubing slips over a nipple on the bottom of the AC enclosure. I removed the tube and then I cleaned out the nipple and the tube with a pipe cleaner. If there is room, put a pie pan or something under the nipple to catch the water. (From your post, this may not matter as it sounds like everything is already wet.)

BTDT....
Except in my case, everytime I made a turn, about a quart of water would slosh onto my feet.
Filled up the glovebox too.
Remove the radio and the small storage area below it.
I think after you move the wires out of the way, you will
see a black plastic "box" with a hose/tube coming out of the
bottom. My tubing fell apart when I touched it. It leads to
a hole in the frame so it can drain to the ground. I found some
clear tubing that fit and used that. Lowe's/Home Depot should have something that fits.
Beware, I had about a gallon of water drain out once I removed the old tubing!

Ok. I found that tube and shoved some pipe cleaner it in. Some water came out but not alot. Probably due to the fact that it all came out of my defroster and vents previously. The elbow tube is free and clear and I hope thats the end of it. Where else would there be a clog if it doesnt work. I think this problem may have screwed up my radio as I heard my woofer farting and seems it was like that all night. Probably some wet wire. I'll dry it out for a few days and see what gives. Thanks for the help.
