Default SF Craigslist really nice silver 968

Maybe its just because I'm a sucker for silver cars but I saw this and started drooling..

I'd trade in my truck for it, but I love my truck.. Only thing is, its a tip, sadly.

No affiliation.

If this forum had thought police, you'd get arrested for saying that.

I like that 968, except it's a bloody tiptronic. I asked the owner if he'd trade for my 968. I'm not sure if I actually would, but I want to know if he'd say yes. Mine is a better color (red) and it's a 6-speed... how could he say no?

psh... silver...

He replied and said he doesn't want to trade, he needs space. He also said he doesn't like red. This man is clearly an idiot.

But why would you want a Tiptronic anyway, if you got it, we'd all have to like.. Stare at you.

The 968 tiptronics are actually pretty good transmissions from other owners on here. Great for commuter cars that deal with traffic.

That car is a beauty.

When it rains, it pours. All of a sudden so many pop up out of the woodwork at the same time. At the same time, most specimens are coming up sub $10K now compared to 2 years ago. So tempting...

Yeah, in December '05 I got mine for a STEAL at just under 10k. Now, that would be an average price. Overall a good deal I guess!

Yes, that red one is mint and gorgeous. Red 968s only look good when they're all clean and kept (unlike mine right now). And when they ARE clean, they really are gorgeous. His price isn't too bad for the quality he claims. If it had m030 that would actually be a killer deal, but I doubt it does.

Why would I want a tiptronic? That's a secret! A secret I will never divulge. I have all the 5-speed conversion parts, just in case I ever find a sweet deal on a tiptronic. I can live with only 5 gears

Oh, I know! There is only one reason: your girlfriend / mistress can not drive a manual.

What the hell? How is that a mint car that has won concourses, yet it doesn't have all the engine cover pieces?

I saw that and was thinking the same thing. Plus, did those cars come stock with a 6 disk CD changer option?

I love the 968... Yet I'm embarrased to admit that I have never seen one in person.
