WTB: pinion/valve assembly from power 944 steering rack
I tried the wanted forum, but didn't get any help:

I need the entire pinion assembly in the attached picture (borrowed from RENNBAY!!!!).
$15 shipped? I don't care if its from a rack that was leaking, I'm going to be running this rack un-powered. Should be <$5 via USPS first class or priority.

I boogered up the pinion/valve assembly on my rack and need a new one. I need everything you pull out of the valve tower from the input shaft down to the teeth that engage the rack. Does anyone have a leaking rack on the shelf that you could pilfer for me? Hopefully cheap, getting this 944 back on the road is nickle-diming me to death.

I was targeting someone that pulled a badly leaking rack and replaced with a new one. Hopefully they just had the old one dripping on a shelf and could help me out. As for effort, assuming the rack is out of the car, its just 5 10mm bolts holding it in. 2 on the yoke plate at the bottom to release the preload, and 3 on top. 5 minutes to separate from the rack.
Maybe I'll take another look at my pinion. I might be able to fix it with some welding.
