Default Speed and reference sensors

Hey guys. Hows everyone doing? Well My car won't start, lol. I'm pretty sure its the reference and/or speed sensor both are in pretty bad shape, I got some funky volt meter readings off of them and I have no tach bounce. I wanted to know if theres anyone that has any from a spare motor or something they would be willing to sell or if anyone could tell me where I could buy them cheap. I'm trying to get the sensors, wiring and the plug holder (not sure of the name). I'm a college student that washes dishes for a living so the cheaper the better, lol. I'd be willing to spend the money for the parts ifI knew for sure that replacing them would solve the problem, so if anyone has any lying around that they would be willing to let me use I could haul the car to where ever just to test it out. . . Any help in any form would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any replies

You can get the same sensor in a BMW part # for about 1/2 the price. Here's a link with a good chart on the first post. Info on the BMW version is further down the page with prices. Good luck

Paragon sells the BMW ones - they work great and are cheap - I bought a pair recently and they worked flawlessly.

Before you spend the money, try wiggling the connectors. This sometimes works. If you want to spend a little, get some contact cleaner at Radio Shack and unplug the connectors and clean the contacts. I always try free stuff first.

Wow! That info would have helped a lot a few years ago when I replaced mine. Oh well... Good luck getting them out, thats a fun job. Especially when your hands are the size of an ogres. Then the tops of mine snapped off leaving the cylinder sensor piece stuck.
