84 AFM, just not right...

Hey guys,
I think, for the most part, I've got my 84 sorted and it seems to start on it's own (easily), and idle well. It hesitates and bogs (all maintenance items have been replaced), so I suspect it's the AFM. I've removed it already, cleaned it, oiled the door flap mechanism, etc... but it just doesn't appear to accelerate properly. Of course, the car has basically sat for the past couple of years, but I totally drained all the fuel, and this is all new fuel in there... (with new fuel lines, and a new fuel filter).
Any thoughts?
If it is my AFM, what's an easy way to test it, and what options do I have for replacing it? I haven't seen any new ones available anywhere.
Thanks!!!
