Unfortuneatly having a convertible means that there are less sunroofs to fly off.
However... I do have a parts flying OPEN story that I have not yet shared, that people will definetly think was a rock move.
Thats why I need a new top as well ^^

Actually, no ill tell it.
I was driving the car one day after putting the top up. It got really hot so I decided to run it up with the A/C on.
Well I was driving and I was looking up and I kept seeing sunlight through the place where the roof meets the windshield. I was like what is theese? So I poke the roof and it goes flying backwards open (keep in mind this was at like 55mph). The passenger side latch wasnt latched at all, and the drivers side was just barely latched holding it.
My convertable was now- Converted!
It ripped the B pillars in half, and pulled both of the moving arms on both sides straight out of the mounts.

I dont think there really is a way you can do it. When the top opens, the window bends. Youd have to mod the hell out of it to get it to work right.

Take a look at how the Boxster was done to get a glass window. They originally had plastic windows, so I'm sure a modification wouldn't be that hard if you're competent with a welder. You're already prepared to go and get a new top, you might as well invest it into something better.
