Looking good Brett. What did you finally decide on that oil pump re-seal and what all was done to the head?

i looked at the oil pump, and i could see that the loctite had seeped all the way to the edges of the pump. I even had to wipe a little off. so im sure it sealed it up good. and if it does leak, its no that big of a deal. i need to have projects or else i get bored.

and the head didn't have much done. i did some minor polishing, then just had a valve job done. it was also blasted so it looks brand new.

why would the oil pump leak?

I just resealed my oil pump and used loctite 575 and no more leaks, it was gushing oil before. also used permatex the right stuff for imports to coat my oil pan gasket and th engine is completely dry now.

looks good..... if I had the time I'd rebuild a spare engine and make it all shiny and cool like that lol.

Isn't that cool how clean the head gets after coming back from the machine shop? I almost didn't want to put mine on the engine. Too bad you can't see it once it's installed.
