Bought the car from New Mexico.. ya, 104* weather out there and the guy has snow chains in the back. Go figure. Anyway, he didn't want them either so he left them in the car.

What's the condition of your evaporator core?

I've done pretty well selling parts on Rennlist...I'll throw in a year's membership for a current non-member who can PM me a good reason why he deserves it. It'll help Rennlist and contribute to the community.

I'll jump in here. I'm moving and have got a leaking power steering rack with a set of both early and late tie rods I need to get rid of. Useless to me and free to whoever wants to pay shipping for it from 22043.

When I go to DC Automotive's site, above, for names, they list
Compressor
Condensor
Dessicator
The AC wasn't working when I took it off... but I don't know that it wouldn't. It wouldn't hold freon, because one of the lines was rubbed through when it got pushed against the accessory belt. I never bothered having it charged, because I live in Minnesota, so I don't really need it. We only get three hot days a year, so I might as well enjoy them. Also, I track the car, so AC Delete seemed like a fun project.
Compressor - Spins freely, seems like it would be ok... no obvious damage.
Condenser - Looks ok. One of the brackets is off because the rivets rusted through, but could be fixed probably. The fins are more or less straight, but aged.. there is one crease from something getting rubbed, but again, probably not a structural problem.
Dessicator - no clue how to describe this thing. It just sits there, looking 24 years old. It probably works... but I'm an optimist

Evaporator is the coil inside the car.

I don't need one, I was just trying to help clarify some information. SeaCay was the one asking about it.

I need brake rotors for my Turbo crossed drilled if possible and have an NA parts car to pay foward. I did Pay it Foward 3 years ago when a Lister from NJ bought a car from in Elmhurst, IL and I picked him up at the Airport and drove him to Elmhurst for free. I told him Pay it Foward...dunno if her did or not.

Hi guys... I'm reviving this most valuable thread. I received an S2 - throttle body from AznDragon this week. I wanted to say thanks for that and I really want to keep this thread alive too because we all have so much Porsche stuff lying around, we may as well share some of it with our firends.
So, I have a little somehing to offer - totally free (no shipping or anything) - 1 pair of control arm inserts. These are the black ones made out of plastic or rubber-like material.
I'l try to get the garage cleaned out soon and see if there's some other stuff that needs a new home - I know there is....Bruce
