Default A/C Issue

For the past couple of days my a/c has only functioned on the highest setting(4) and I get no air on the lower settings. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Is this a sign that my a/c is about to go out completely??

Do a search-- it's usually a simple fix. You probably just need to clean the contacts. . .

The resistor pack might be the problem. Look at this:

That's probably it. I'll look in to it. Thanks for the help.

When the blower motor resistor goes out, it will default to the high position only. That will fix your prob!

Weird, today I drove the car and the a/c worked fine on every setting.
