Default 20 yr Suspension Tuneup ??

My 944 now hit its 20th birthday with 98k. What all suspension componets should I replace ? just because their old.

Shocks are probably long gone by now.

A-arm bushings, and front sway bushings - especially those near the power steering. The balljoints/ tierod ends and perhaps inner tierod joints as well. All 4 shocks as mentioned above, then just start replacing everything you see that you dont like! lol

It depends on how well you want it to work. Shocks for sure. then sway bar bushings, then ,well it goes on and ond.

Good (cheap) Source for Konis ???? How easy is it to do shocks ?

If you are going to run stock rate springs in your N/A - save some money and just buy Bilstiens - or even the stock Boge's. I mean - the Boge's did last 20 years...

Koni shocks are great if you are looking to squeak the last bit of road holding ability out of the car, going to the track or going to a DX, but for a daily driver they are hardly necisary - just an opinion - lots of others think differently!!

My old NA had bilsteins and they were great! I felt every bump but the car just felt sooooo nice.
