Default Will S2 struts fit a 87 944S?

Hello,

Anyone tried this or know if the complete strut will bolt up?

Thanks!

Martin,

Yes, S2 struts will fit in an S. You will need the entire strut assembly [strut, spring, and upper hat] as S2 springs are slightly narrower than S springs and the upper hats are not interchangeable. The S2 springs will also be slightly stiffer, on the order of ~50 lb/in. Go ahead and get them.

Martin,

I have a set of front struts, springs and plates from a 968 with 50,000 miles on them. Should be similiar to S2 struts. Send me an email if interested.
