Why do I always pass other 944's when I'm not in mine?
Lets count:
a teen/20's age guy in a black NA on Franklin Farm road today.
a dark grey 944s2 parked in off idelwood rd yesterday
a silver 968 on Friday on the beltway
and a silver NA near Tysons earlier last week.
...and I've been driving my dad's M3 in all cases! I guess either I just never notice them when I'm driving mine or everyone is out in them since the weather is nice.
So any of you guys on rennlist?

I've seen 5 in the last two years around Town... dissapointing. There is a gold late model rolling around New Tampa. Is that any of yours out there? There's Pete's (silver) and Headhunters (grey), a beater early red that is in sad shape, and a decent red late... headhunter sold his so that leaves PeteL and me in New Tampa area. Any other listers up this way?

Two good options there. The car's getting some fancy shmancy tuning work done at the shop, including fun things like replacing studs I broke and can't get out myself.
Once it's all done I'll be back to driving it every day I'm not on my bike. I dunno about racing it, but I'll be looking into DE's for sure.

I feel for you man. The same thing happens to me when iam driving my Jeep (my DD) I always se Porsches on the road but then when I takle out the 944 I do not see as many.
Of course that could just be becuase I am enjoying driving my car so much I am not as worried about the nice cars that are around me. Epecially when you get tempted by a cury stech of road r on ramp that screams at drive hard through here you will not regret it.

i pulled off the road today in my 951 and found a guy sitting in an 83 944...nice guy, but the car wasn't in the best shape. and then just yesterday i saw like 4 944's all within a block of eachother. Otherwise the only place i see them is in the Costco parking lot. figure that out..

Is it a Jeep Wrangler? If it is, then you know about the wave.
I was in my 944 passing a Jeep going the other way and I waved at him.
Then I realized I wasn't in my Jeep.
Today I say a 944 n/a in traffic. I tried to get closer so I could say hello. Just before I pulled up next to him I realized I was in my Jeep.
After driving trucks for the past 15 years, I think the reason you don't see more is because you can't! Some guy in a lifted something or another pulled up to me once. When you look up and see the shift linkage on the transmission, you know you are low

I just saw a maroon 944 today, I've seen it in that parking lot before. I need to meet the owner. On the other side of the same parking lot, the manager of trader joe's has a S2 cab and a 996.
